There are so many sweet, see how perfect our life is, let-me-show-you-how-to-make-a-craft-with-pictures-of-my-cute-kids-doing-it blogs...mine is definitely not one of those. Although I'm not guaranteeing you won't see pictures, this is a real life, sometimes sarcastic version of parenting. Don't get me wrong, I love my little offspring, but let's face it...motherhood is a messy job that gets no respect. I'm no expert, but I've certainly got my share of battle wounds that come with the territory. Throw-up stained clothing, stretch marks and poop under the fingernails. Yes, I bake cookies, sing songs and am completely over-extended at the local elementary school. These 'sweet mommy' moments are all made possible by being able to be myself here. So sit back and enjoy reading my non-sugar coated version of parenting. It may not always be sweet, but it's real.
